The Foreign Service Academy hosted H.E. Barlybay Sadykov, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Kenya and Permanent Representative to UNON, for a lecture to participants in the ongoing pre-departure training programme for newly posted diplomatic officers.
The Ambassador shared insights on Kazakhstan’s history, reforms, foreign policy, and growing Kenya–Kazakhstan relations, including opportunities arising from President William Ruto’s recent State Visit to Kazakhstan.
The interactive session enriched participants’ understanding of comparative foreign policy and strengthened their preparedness for diplomatic service abroad.
