Kenya and France convened the Conference on “Engaging Youth in Diplomacy and International Partnerships in a Fractured World” at the University of Nairobi, bringing together senior officials, diplomats, scholars, and students for a substantive dialogue on the evolving landscape of global diplomacy. The conference featured keynote engagements by Éléonore Caroit, Minister Delegate for Francophonie and International Partnerships, and Kenya’s Principal Secretary for Foreign Affairs, in the presence of Arnaud Suquet, Ambassador of France to Kenya. Discussions focused on strengthening multilateralism, advancing equitable international partnerships, and positioning youth as central actors in shaping diplomatic practice in an increasingly complex and fragmented global environment reaffirming Kenya’s commitment to collaborative and forward-looking global engagement.
