H.E. Amb. Kang Hyung-Shik, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Kenya, today paid a courtesy call on Amb. Patrick S. Wamoto, EBS, the Acting Director General of the Foreign Service Academy, at his office in Upper Hill Chambers, 316 Building.
During the meeting, Amb. Wamoto reaffirmed Kenya’s appreciation for the longstanding partnership and cooperation with the Republic of Korea, particularly in areas such as the support extended towards the establishment of the Kenya Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) at Konza Technopolis.
Both parties underscored the importance of strengthening collaboration in capacity building and skills development, particularly between the Korean National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) and the Foreign Service Academy (FSA), noting that the timely conclusion of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) would be key to deepening institutional ties and fostering mutual growth.
