She has 35 years professional experience gained working as a Public Policy and Strategy Consultant; Training Facilitator; Principal Secretary-Ministry of Labour-Government of Kenya; Lawyer in Private Practice (Corporate Law; Property Law; Employment and Industrial Relations); Alternative Dispute Resolution (Certified Professional Mediator - SMC, Associate CIABK;

Ms Kituyi’s Key Achievements as Principal Secretary includes providing leadership and oversight for establishment of three Semi-Autonomous Government Agencies (SAGAS)- National Industrial Training, Occupational Safety and Health Authority, Small and Micro Enterprises Authority.; the development of national policy legislative and institutional reforms in the areas of Skills Development; Occupation Health and Safety; Micro and Small Enterprises; Social Security reforms, Labour Administration and adjudication reforms; Alignment of Sectoral laws to the Constitution of Kenya 2010; National Manpower Survey simultaneously in the EAC; bridging the gap in resource mobilization, National Industrial Training Certification

Ms Kituyi possesses exemplary technical competencies, including;

• Served as a delegate to the International Labour Organization’s Governing Body and Conferences for the period 2008-2013.
• Coordinator of the 53 Africa government group that ensures the African region context is taken in to account in the standards setting role of ILO.
• Spokesperson of the Africa Government Group on the Youth Unemployment Crisis Agenda of the ILC 2012.
• Chairperson of the Technical Cooperation Committee.
• Africa representative on the Board of ILO/International Training Centre.

Oversight in Corporate Affairs/Service on Governance Boards
• Trained as an Effective Director Executive Program (Strathmore Business School), among other Board Trainings
• A director/board member of various private, public, national and international boards in the sphere of development of sustainable enterprises, skills development, social security, social health insurance, pension, productivity improvement and international approaches to skills development.
• 2008- 2012 served as a Board Member for the International Labour Organization/International Training Centre, Turin Italy representing the Africa Governments Group at the ILO.

• Participation in the General Election of Kenya - monitoring, observation and evaluation for Kenya 2002, 2007, 2017 & 2022.
