20 young diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs are honoured to participate in the Training Programme for Young Diplomats, offered by the Academy of International Business Officials (AIBO), of the Ministry of Commerce of China.
In the opening remarks delivered by Ms. Amina Mohammed, on behalf of the Kenya’s delegation, she commended the long-standing, cordial relations between the Republic of Kenya and the People’s Republic of China , a partnership grounded in mutual respect, shared development goals, and people-to-people exchanges.
She expressed appreciation to the Government of China and AIBO for organizing the seminar, which provides a vital platform for young diplomats to learn, network, and exchange ideas in an increasingly interconnected world.
Ms. Mohammed underscored Kenya’s commitment to building diplomatic capacity and advancing multilateral cooperation, echoing the spirit of H.E President William Ruto’s recent state visit to China, which reaffirmed strategic ties between the two nations.
As Kenya continues to champion youth empowerment in diplomacy and international affairs, such engagements reaffirm our dedication to shaping a future grounded in dialogue, collaboration, and shared prosperity.
